  • DALL-E (stylized as DALL. E) and DALL-E 2 are deep learning models developed by Open AI to generate digital images from natural language descriptions, 
  • Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems.

Session 2: Social media for Academic Libraries

13th Day Learning

Excursion: Chandigarh

    Day 13 of the 21 Days In-Service Course was very much exciting day for the participants as Excursion was organized as part of the course activity.
    
    

    

            The local tour started at 8.30 AM as all participants boarded bus and first destination to reach at 9.00 AM was Rock Garden which was created by Padmashree Nek Chand Saini who was Government Official and he started building this Garden secretly in his spare time in 1957. unique world-acclaimed Rock Garden. It consists of art objects, fashioned from industrial and urban waste.


 

        The next destination was Chandigarh Bird Park and Sukhna Lake. The participants reached there at 11 AM. This is simply remarkable and is built with the idea to create as perfect a natural habitat as possible for the birds.
        The last destination for the day was Rose Garden were, participants had there afternoon lunch and enjoyed the Zakir Hussain Rose Garden Asia's largest Rose Garden and is spread over 30 acres of land having over 1600 different species of roses. The participants returned to the ZIET Campus at 4.45 PM. The Excursion was coordinated by Excursion Committee members along with Course Coordinator  Mr. Sunil Kumar Saini along with Resource Persons Mr. S L Faisal and Mr. Adesh Kumar who guided all the participants throughout the trip.

On 12th day we learnt about Flagship programmes in Kendriya Vidyalaya  Sangthan, which different  flagship programmes are working and their importance. We hands on practice of book creator in the computer lab.

On eleventh day we learnt about inclusive education , how we can provide enclusive education and need of inclusive education .In the second half we learnt about book creater .Then in the computer lab we done hands on practice

On the Tenth day of the course in the first session we learnt about many effective communication skills .Role of librarian to develop life skills. In the second session we learnt about sexual harassment of women at work place. Committees where file complaint. How develop the reading habit of teachers. In the second half we learnt from many presentations by different teachers. Then we hand on practice in computer lab.

On the Ninth day of we learnt about Open Educational Resource. What are different educational resources are available. How can we use them and what are their uses. In the second session we learnt about different life skills, also learnt about 21 century skills. How these skill help us in daily life .Life skills according to NEP 2020 and role of librarian to develop life skills. In second half in the first session were presentation by the participants. We learnt  a lot from all the presentations. Then in the second session there was hand on practice in the computer lab.
